Who we are

What we collect

• Enquiries. When you use the contact button ("Need help buying? Contact us"), we collect your name, phone number or email, your message, whether you are looking at HDB or private property and, if you choose, the question and verdict from your council.
• Council purchases. The situation and question you type into the council are sent to our server and to Anthropic, the provider of the Claude AI model, to generate the debate. We do not store them. Your browser keeps your last council on your own device.
• Technical data. Our server uses your IP address, in a one-way scrambled form kept for about an hour, to limit how often the council and form can be used. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs.

Why we use it

We use enquiry details only to reply to you about your enquiry. We use what you type into the council only to run the council you asked for. We do not sell your personal data or use it for marketing without your separate consent.

Who handles it for us

• Hostinger, which hosts this website.
• Google, whose Google Sheets service stores enquiries.
• Anthropic, which processes what you type into the council to generate the debate.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for [PERIOD, FOR EXAMPLE 12 MONTHS] after our last contact with you, unless we need them longer for a legal reason, and then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask to see or correct the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to being contacted, by writing to [DPO EMAIL]. Please leave unit numbers, identity numbers (such as your NRIC) and bank details out of the council and the enquiry form; we will ask for what we need directly.
